Undressed Skeleton — Grocery List

Grocery List

Welcome, everyone!

I took the time to re-do my grocery guide. I noticed all my ingredients and products stated in my grocery list no longer boards in my house.

My 2013 New Year’s resolution was to clean up my diet. I got rid of the artificial sweeteners and processed foods. I am eating more whole and organic. I never realized how many natural sugar-free products existed.

I feel much better about my food choices, and I think my body does too!

Fruits I eat the most:

I had a lot of free time this weekend. Jeremy is in Phoenix for work. And instead of spending the weekend golfing, I had to find something else to do. I figured I’d be productive and do what I love…organize.

Because we move every six months for his job, it’s hard to keep nice things. They end up getting broken or just put in our storage unit. A lot of my glass jars that held my baking supplies broke during our move to Michigan. I knew I should have kept them in our Chicago storage unit. Jeremy warned me, but I just loved them so much. I learned my lesson and decided to use plastic to keep my baking supplies organized until we settle for good.

I have been saving my PB2 jars for about a year now. I have over fifty! I wanted to save them for my paint brushes but found they look much better in my baking cabinet. Right now we live in an apartment and these jars fit perfectly in the limited space. I washed them out and filled them with ingredients.

Here are a couple of the jars I filled so far. I have about 25 more to fill with ingredients and I’ll make sure to post that. I used a Sharpie paint pen. The pens work perfect on glass or plastic and they dry so quick! Why can’t nail polish work that fast?

A lot of you ask about the ingredients I keep in my baking cabinet so here is a list. And as you can see, I have a lot more to jar up!

  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Dairy, Nut, Soy Free Chocolate Chips
  • Sunspire Vegan Chocolate Chips
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds

  • Meringue Powder
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Cane Sugar
  • Stevia
  • Truvia
  • Honey
  • Light Brown Sugar
  • Pb2 Powdered Peanut Butter

Protein Powders I like to use for baking, shakes, and other recipes:

  • Tera’s Whey Protein Vanilla & Chocolate
  • GeniSoy Natural Protein Shake (Perfect for a flour replacement)
  • Biochem Protein

One of my favorite protein powders to cook with is Vega. The chocolate powder is so close to a real brownie mix.

I can never get enough vanilla and almond extract. As you can see my bottles are used and abused!

Some baking ingredients I use that are kept in the refrigerator:

  • Extra Ripe Bananas
  • Eggs
  • Avocados
  • Coconut Milk
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • Unsweetened Applesauce
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Skim Milk
  • Unsalted Butter
